A mountain bike is THE bike for all adventure-seekers who like to get off the beaten track. Whether you enjoy cycling with the whole family or are a downhill pro looking for an adrenalin kick, a mountain bike from GONSER.CH is always a good choice. The wide tyres of the mountain bikes ensure good grip on uneven, slippery and stony surfaces. We also offer suitable bike helmets to go with our mountain bikes. Unlike conventional helmets, these offer a part at the back of the head that extends further down for full protection.
Fully or Hardtail - Which Mountain Bike is Right for You?
Mountain bikes are basically divided into two categories: Hardtail and Fully. Choose your new bike according to its intended use and your personal preferences. A hardtail mountain bike has a suspension fork without suspension on the rear wheel. These models are ideal for easy terrain such as forest or gravel paths. If, on the other hand, you want to tackle action-packed downhill descents, you should opt for a fully mountain bike. As the name suggests, these are equipped with front and rear suspension - in other words, full suspension. They are therefore also suitable for demanding and technically challenging terrain.

In addition to the model type, the wheel size is also a key criterion when choosing your new favourite bike. Mountain bikes are categorised into three wheel sizes:
With smaller 26-inch frames, you are agile and can easily negotiate tight bends. This size is the right choice for younger and smaller cyclists.
For longer cross-country or marathon rides, bikes with a wheel size of 29 inches are ideal, as they ensure a smoother ride and can generate higher speeds.
The 27.5 inch wheels are the happy medium and deliver optimum performance, especially on downhill descents.

We deliver all products ordered directly via our webshop free of charge within Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
The only exception to this are small products that are marked as "GONSERBOX" items. To be able to offer you the best possible prices for these items as well, we charge a shipping fee of CHF 6.90 for GONSERBOX items. As soon as the total of all GONSERBOX-items reaches CHF 35.00, you will also receive these items free of shipping costs!
Your order will be dispatched as quickly as possible after receipt of payment in accordance with the delivery times stated in the webshop. Shipping on account is unfortunately not possible.
Delivery is usually carried out by our parcel service provider Planzer. General cargo is delivered by one of our haulage companies. The carrier always delivers to the kerbside of the respective delivery address.
