Find the Perfect Tent for Your Outdoor Adventure

Before buying your new outdoor tent, consider how many people will be sleeping in it and what its intended use will be. Less is more: a camping tent for trekking and backpacking doesn’t need to be large, as it only requires enough space for your sleeping bag, backpack, and hiking boots. A smaller tent is even advantageous because it reduces the weight you need to carry.

If you’re traveling alone, lightweight one-person tents that are quick to set up and dismantle are ideal. Small groups of 1 to 2 people will find suitable options in our medium-sized tents. For camping holidays, we also offer larger tents for 4 to 6 people.

The tunnel tent is ideal for longer stays in a single location. These large camping tents often feature awnings where you can comfortably set up camping furniture. In large family tents, you can fit camping chairs, tables, camp beds, and even a camping kitchen.

In addition to classic camping tents, we also offer beach tents and shower tents. Beach tents are perfect for day trips to the seaside or the pool, offering protection from the sun. Shower tents are ideal for longer camping stays or summer camps, providing the privacy you need.

Setting Up Your Camping Tent Properly

When camping, it’s essential to choose the right spot for your tent to ensure that your night under the stars is a highlight of your trip. Ensure the ground is level and free from stones or roots. Always position the tent opening away from the wind to reduce exposure to gusts.

Use tent cords and pegs to secure your tent. The outer tent should not touch the inner tent. If rain is expected, avoid setting up your tent at the base of a slope, as runoff water can flow directly into the tent. For extended periods of rain, you can dig a trench around the tent to divert rainwater.

Water Column for Tents: Safe Travel in All Weather

Our tents are made from waterproof materials and feature high water columns. The water column rating indicates the water resistance of a fabric.

An outer tent is considered waterproof from a water column rating of 3000 mm. A water column of 3000 to 5000 mm is recommended for a permanently waterproof tent floor. However, for shorter camping trips or treks, water-repellent tents with lower water column ratings are also suitable.

For an optimal outdoor experience, in addition to your waterproof or water-repellent tent, be sure to pack a sleeping bag, camping mat, and other camping accessories such as a lantern, gas stove, and camping cookware.
