The Basics of Caring for Your Leather Bed Frame

A bed made of faux leather is robust and impresses with its timeless elegance. To ensure that the leather bed frame retains its beautiful leather look, you need to clean it from time to time. Imitation leather is a hard-wearing material with a smooth surface that nevertheless needs to be cleaned regularly. Especially if you use the leather beds in a B&B or hotel, you should remove dirt or stains. Dirt particles can penetrate the material and damage it. 

When cleaning a faux leather bed, you should not use strong cleaning agents or chemicals. A damp cloth is completely sufficient. You can also cover your bed with a duvet cover. This not only protects your bedding from dust, but also the bed frame. As with all bed frames, we also recommend fitting floor-protecting felt strips to the feet of a leather bed frame - these protect the furniture and floor from scratches. Last but not least, it is advisable to only switch on the LED lighting on leather bed frames when necessary.
