But what do you need to consider when choosing a cot? To begin with, you need a cot in which your baby can lie safely and securely. Our cots fulfil high safety standards and are made from safe and easy-care materials. Thanks to the adjustable lying height, the cot is suitable up to toddler age.

The Ideal Crib: You Should Pay Attention to these Criteria

A small bedside bed measuring 96 x 96 x 74 cm is suitable until the child is around 9 months old. A cot measuring 120 x 60 cm, on the other hand, is suitable up to the age of 7 and a maximum load of approx. 25 kg. The high bed sides ensure that your little one won't fall out of the bed while sleeping or when trying to stand up for the first time. The integrated castors and removable components make it a practical bed for travelling. Depending on the model, a changing mat is also integrated. When your child is a little older and bigger, the bed will of course also need to be bigger. We then recommend switching to a larger children’s bed.

To ensure the safety of your child, we recommend leaving out small toys, stuffed animals, blankets and pillows if necessary. This significantly reduces the risk of your child suffocating. Instead, use a colourful mobile at the head of the cot. This way, your child can relax and watch the gentle movements and listen to the soft music. In summer, you should also install a mosquito net that can be stretched over the cot out of reach. This way, your little one is perfectly protected and nothing stands in the way of a restful sleep - whether at home or on the go!
